In 2010 TyTe was commissioned to write 16 pieces of soundtrack music in 16 weeks to fit a reading of Mark's Gospel by Bible Society UK. This isn't as easy as it sounds. It's half dance music and half soundtrack music. The words of the Bible reading had to be the focus and the music could not distract nor break up the flow of the narrative. On the other hand the music couldn't be bland and had to reflect the action in the text. Sadly, Bible Society never marketed the results and quietly put the Gospel of Mark out on Sound Cloud. I guess they decided it just wasn't commercial enough. This album is the suite of the backing tracks mixed without the vocal.
